DDD #234 - "Spring Daffodil"

My freebie for this week, Diane's Digital Design #234 - "Spring Daffodil" will make a beautiful Mother's Day Card, a wonderful Spring card, a lady's birthday card, or even a set of note cards--or what is your idea???

I decided on a Mother's Day card for my sweet, wonderful 96 year Aunt. She's like a Mom to me and has been since my Momma [& her sister] died over 35 years ago. She's a great friend too.

Blessings to each of you.

DDD #233 - "GOT BUNNY???"

My card using DDD #233:

NOW IT'S BRAG TIME: This is Wayne [my husband] and our oldest Grandson [Jalen] with their Catch of the Day from last Sunday after church. They caught 6 more, but Fishermen always want to showcase their biggest catch. The youngest Grandson [Jordan] and I stayed home to play, play, play on the IPAD & Computer.

Enjoy & God's Blessings to each of you!

DDD #231 - "GOT EGGS?"

First, let me say [again] I'm sorry that I didn't get to post last Wednesday. Wayne had more complications and was hospitalized AGAIN! But, we're very thankful that he's now on the mend. He says that he 'feels right' now.

On to my blog-world: My digi, DDD #231, "Got Eggs" is a 2014 design [done while we were in the hospital this last week]. Yes, the bucket is on its SIDE on purpose--think it's more interesting in that position--everyone draws Easter digis 'right side UP', oh Well! hope you enjoy!

And this [sorry for the shadow] is my Easter card with my digi, DDD #231 with paper piecing and lots of fussy cut layers [even though they do not show at this position]. Cute on the bucket's side, uh??????????

Also, we're having our Easter/Bunny Challenge at Simply Create Too--you can enter in the fun until 10 April ---- AND, if you use my Digi #231 above, I'll send you another of my unpublished digis as FREE Candy.

Please drop by again real soon!

As you might know, I've been absent from posting. Wayne has been hospitalized for a couple of weeks with congestive heart failure. While in, the cardiologist decided it was time to put in a CRDT device that will not only 'kick in' when his heart beats too slow, but will also make the bottom two chambers of his heart beat together as they are supposed to. Long-story-long: We got home over the weekend and Wayne is recovering slowly from the surgery/implanting. And, you know I had to 'catch up' on household chores and laundry. But, we're settling back into our routines now.

Because of our 'hospitalization' I'm making this Nurse Appreciation Week. We are richly blessed with a caring hospital staffed with wonderful doctors and nurses. DDD #230 is Nurse Nancy is my tribute to them--hope you enjoy!

Here's my card with DDD #230--I'm mailing it today to a friend who has just been diagnosed with cancer and has had surgery.

Thanks for visiting, keep us [and Betty] in your prayers , and please drop by again soon!

DDD #229 - "TREES"

Occasionally I like to draw something differently and DDD #229 - "Trees" was the result. I kept the shapes of these stylized trees very simple so the 'embellishments' could shine [as you can see below on my card--both the front & inside]. Without a sentiment on my card, I can use it for anything I need it for.

Thank you for your visit, and if you like my digi #229, let me know.

Blessings to you & yours,

Because we had snow last week here in central Alabama, I'm posting my digi about kids enjoying the snow. BUT, the weather forecast for today??? It's going to be 71! Think maybe I should post a digi about the 'beach', UH??? I explained to Yvonne, a friend of mine from Canada, about OUR weather: "If you don't like the weather [in Alabama] today; stay around--it'll change tomorrow!" And, so it has, but I'm still posting DDD #228 because the weather will be C-O-L-D most everywhere else!

Here's my easel card using my DDD #228 - "Skater Boy - Skip":

It turned out just right for a boy's birthday card. I printed out the sentiments on my PC; all the papers on my card are from my scraps; the snowflakes are from the after-Christmas 2012 sale at Hobby Lobby.

I've entered Skater Boy Skip in the 1st Challenge [What's My Style] over at Craft Hoarders Anonymous

Many thanks for your visit, please drop by again real soon!
