Pumpkins always remind us Grandparents of when our oldest Grandson was around 2 years old. We went to the Pumpkin Patch in a nearby town and Jalen petted and fed animals, played in the sandbox, rode a giant slide and picked his very own pumpkin. And you just know we took videos of everything he did. When he found his 'little pumpkin' [really, it was the only one he could pick up]--of course we recorded him that and said, "Pumpkin, pumpkin, I love pumpkin". And this time every year we drag out the videos, watch them and get a little sad because he and his family were so far away. But not now! We are so blessed that our son [and his family] have retired from the Navy and moved from Hawaii to their house next door.
Joy! Joy! [Double joy because we now have 2 grandsons!]
