LITTLE PURVIS THE PUFFER FISH (& HIS HOME)

I had never heard of a Puffer Fish until our visit to Hawaii to see our Daughter-In-Law Joscie and Grandsons in June. Both of the Grands got so excited telling us about the Puffer. Jordan (he's 5) had to show us how they look (his little face looked like a balloon he 'puffed up' so much!) and then said, "they smile at you!". Then Jalen (he's 10) had to tell us "they puff up 2 or 3 times their normal size when they get scared" then showed us pictures from the Aquarium. After looking at the pictures and listening to them, the new digi came into being. However, after I'd finished drawing the little Puffer, Jalen said, "Granny, he has to have spikes!" so spikes were added and above is the final look. AND, doesn't Purvis need a 'home'? Well, I've also added a second free digi of a home for Purvis.

We're still travelling in the Smokey Mountains in our RV so I can't make cards (Husband decreeded: 'RV is a NO CRAFTING ZONE'). P.S. He's right, I don't 'make cards' while RVing so---today was a 'shopping day' (for card making supplies) in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge at the best place ever--ScrapBook Outlet--it's across from WalMart on Hwy 441 in Governor's Crossing Shopping! You have to go there to believe it!

Enjoy Youir Freebies

  8. Hi Diane -- glad to hear you are having a great time RVing!! I also enjoy the two scrap stores at Govenors Crossing and go there more than once during my visits to family who live just a couple blocks from there. Check out the 'Glades' -- this is an awesome place to roam and shop for crafters ware.
