DDD # 236 - "SPRING PLANTING" [Wheelbarrow Series #1]

DIGI REMOVED.

First, I want to show you what inspired this series of digis that I've titled "Wheelbarrow Series": For the last several months, my husband and son have been talking about/looking at & for a tractor. Now, first of all: We have a perfectly great tractor [but acording to them "it doesn't have a front end loader and we need one]! My question was, "How often?" No answer! Well, my son finally gave up on getting a new tractor equipped with said 'front end loader' this year, and bought a wheelbarrow. [In the picture below you can barely see his new blue wheelbarrow so I pointed to it.]

But I don't have to point out their new tractor with said front end loader, do I????????

Anyway, all of this was to tell you that when he parked his new blue wheelbarrow up againsit his wall, I got the idea for this series of digis which you'll see more of as 2014 progresses.

Here is my card using DDD #236 - Spring Planting [Wheelbarrow Series #1]:

Card Front:

I kept the inside very simple:

HINT:

I like to keep my cards 'coordinated' from front to back and here is a FREE hint that I use because I'm 'cheap'.

Before attaching my digi [with its background paper] to my designer paper, I do punch outs of my designer paper. This way I have free coordinating paper for my embellishments & back of my card:

Have you done this????? If so, please let me know...

Until next week, blessings!

  1. I haven't done that recently but I used to - it lightens the weight of the card if you punch a piece out that is hidden by the layering. Thanks for the digi.
